Pampered to Perfection - Wonderful en-suite accommodation, charming and courteous crew that looked after my every wish, were it Caviar and Champagne for breakfast, Champagne by the Swimming Pool, Champagne when dining, après dinner in the Bar, or watching a fantastic Show in the Theatre.

THE SILVER CONNOISSEUR WINE SELECTION

De-luxe Wines, carefully selected by the Sommelier, are available at extra cost. A Caviar Imbiber invited me to join him in his choice of a Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose 1996. The intense and rich bouquet was full of fruity aromas. In the mouth the Wine was lively and full of berry flavours. A sensual champagne, we agreed, positioned between the Heart and Soul. It was my idea of Heaven – as Hugh Johnson, a lyrical and imaginative Wine Writer remarked that everyone should try one of the World's great, at least once a year, to remind oneself of all the poetry and magic that such a bottle brings.

Sleeping that night, in my deluxe Suite, the waves were tipsy but the Ship's Stabilizers excellent, I was gently rocked to sleep like a babe in a cradle.

The next morning, I woke up wonderfully refreshed, looking 10 years younger. Ready to commence the day's Culinary Activities all over again.

A SLENDER GOURMET LUNCH

I enjoy sitting in the Park, underneath the trees, dipping a frilly Celery stick into my Mediterranean style Lemon and Coriander Houmous – Tesco special – Baby Carrots, crunchy Crudities are excellent for dipping. As an alternative to houmous (not to be confused with humour), Tesco's Moroccan style Couscous.

AT THE DINNER TABLE

Multi-Michelin star Chef Marco Pierre White, likes conversation to be outrageous bordering on naughtiness. It gets the taste buds going – a little eye flirtation would not come amiss.
