MARK WINTERS

By the time you read this the Glastonbury Festival will be over, and hopefully you will have had a brilliant time, and you will have visited the Earthly Sins confessional Booth! If you haven't, or you didn't go to Glastonbury, here is the website details www.earthlysins.org and a brief synopsis of what it was and is all about.

It was located at the Green Field, the Booth offered a non judgmental environmental advice installation, based on a Catholic confessional, created by Futerra and Anti Apathy.

The Booth welcomed willing volunteers to take part in a mock confession. The experts from Futerra and Anti Apathy, dressed as disciples of Mother Nature Superior, identified and addressed participants' environmental sins, and did not ask them to refrain just to sustain. Then, through advice and suggestions at the 'Shrine of Sustainability' the newly converted were shown how simple lifestyle choices and even how the most minor adjustments can help them make a dramatic impact on the preservation of our planet. Artists and Musicians appearing at the festival were invited to take part and lead the way.

Futerra and Anti Apathy's objective, through an innovative, light-hearted communication method was to inspire and enable visitors that visited the booth to make a positive difference in their lives, thereby creating a better world for us all, now and into the future.

FUTERRA is a new type of business, a campaigning communications consultancy dedicated to inspiring widespread excitement around sustainable development. Working with everyone from multi-national corporations through to local community groups, FUTERRA believe that sustainable development is too important to remain an invisible idea.

ANTI-APATHY is a vibrant cultural campaign designed to communicate key issues of our times in a unique manner. Helping to create a more just, democratic and sustainable world through awareness and action.

See, I do care about the environment as well, you never know what you are going to see on my column, do you?

LEE RYAN

I see Lee had his 21st birthday party last Thursday in central London, he invited a number of celebrities along, including the lovely Lara McAllen the featured vocalist with Angel City, who's latest single " Touch Me " which was released on 21st June, is already in the Top 15 as I write this column and no doubt will be higher in the charts when you read this! A number of press people noticed that she wasn't with Chris Parker " Spencer " from East Enders, it was interesting to see, as she affectionately gave Lee a kiss J.

Has Chris lost out to Lee? We will have to see!

THE V FESTIVAL

I see that there are tickets still available for both Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire.

The Festival is on between 21st and 22nd August. Some of the artistes appearing are PINK, N.E.R.D, Dido, The Strokes, The Pixies, Muse, Massive Attack and many many more.

The bands will be commuting between the two shows.

TIT BITS

OZZY OSBOURNE
I see Ozzy wants Johnny Depp to play him in a film! Personally, I think Johnny is too handsome play him personally, but let's hope he doesn't do method acting!

TONY BLACKBURN
I can't believe Tony Blackburn has been suspended for repeatedly playing Cliff Richard records on his breakfast show.

Classic Gold Digital suspended him after he ignored warnings from station bosses.

Blackburn was reportedly called into a meeting with the UBC head of programmes, Paul Baker, and warned not to play songs by Cliff as it was against station policy.

But the next day he played more Cliff tracks! Paul Baker warned him that he would be suspended if he didn't stop, but obviously Tony thought he was still a Radio 1 Dj and could select his own playlist. Well, it looks like he won't be on the station too long !

OASIS
Noel and Liam Gallagher insisted on a drugs free zone when they played Glastonbury! Well, it looks like they will be inviting the vicar around for tea and biscuits next !!

Makes you laugh !

Well that's that's lot this month, sorry it's so short, keep the e-mails
